The giving tree.

Every year we go to get our Christmas tree at a farm in Wisconsin.  We run around- looking at all the different varieties and sizes before deciding on the “just right” tree.  In between the mature trees that are ready to be cut and brought home to be carefully decorated and celebrated, are the little, tiny trees that are just starting their journey.  It’s never lost on me that the tree we are taking home started as all these trees do.  As a tiny little sapling, relying on the good nature and wise decisions of the tree farmer.  I suppose some might think it’s silly, but I’m especially grateful for the little tree.  It has such work to do before it’s ready to become a Christmas tree.  331/365mpi3652016-day-331
