Baseball.

I love baseball.  Used to go to games when I was a kid with my dad.  Sox and Cubs- my dad loved both teams, unlike most Chicagoans.  I still love professional baseball- and the White Sox are my team, but during most of the summer what I love most is watching this guy play.  It’s been a great season – he’s learned a lot, and had some great opportunities to improve his game and try out new positions.  He’s been on a team of great boys- who are good players and good friends.  He’s been coached well- and evenly- challenge when it’s appropriate and support when it’s needed.  Good coaching is key to the development of any athlete in my experience.  So today the lefty got to pitch- and he’s no Chris Sale- but he’s working on it.  If you love baseball, do yourself a favor and go to a kids game- you’ll be reminded why.  188/365mpi3652016 day 188
