High on the New Year!

What a year 2012 was.
So many blessings~ plenty of challenges~ but God is good.
So after my year-long project…it’s been nice to take a few days off- but I still feel myself wanting to capture and document all around me.
This year- I’m working a theme each month- to stretch a little farther and deeper into each subject.
So some of my developing series will be included- Chicago, and Bridges to name two. New subjects too- like street photography and something I love but don’t shoot enough- barns.
So- January will start with my favorite place in the world~ my hometown.

This image was taken from the 96th floor of the John Hancock. Or the “Johnny Haircut” as we call it in our house- ever since our oldest coined the term a while back…
Can you see the crib in the water?

Thanks to all who visited my blog and encouraged me along on my 365 project last year.
Your feedback and comments are all very appreciated! Keep them coming.
